Stephan A. Stein

Mr. Stein has three decades of full spectrum debt, equity and merger/acquisition transaction and business management experience, initially as a practicing attorney in New York City and as a principal of several emerging growth stage related companies, and thereafter as an investment banker specializing in nano-cap companies. Mr. Stein came to Joseph Gunnar & Co. in 1999, soon after its founding from Commonwealth Associates, the New York based merchant and investment bank, where he was Managing Director of Corporate Finance. Mr. Stein is a hands-on administrator of the Firm’s Banking Group. In addition to the origination and maintenance of corporate client relationships, he continues to be active in the processing of all Joseph Gunnar banking transactions. Joseph A. Alagna Jr.

Mr. Alagna has facilitated dozens of financings for developing, early stage and already public companies across a wide array of business sectors. He has directly supervised hundreds of retail registered representatives in the placement of securities of all types for company financings. Philip Goodman

Managing Director

Mr. Goodman has more than three decades of Corporate Finance, Advisory, and Company Founding experience. He has led turnarounds and business development engagements, and has directed institutional capital raises of both equity and debt. His assignments have been in diverse sectors with a concentration in technology driven, fast track companies. Mr. Goodman’s experience as a founder and manager of companies has enabled him to help both companies and investors to arrive at satisfactory transactions. Mr. Goodman is also a director of the Angel Investment Forum of Florida and the American Fund Advisors Private Equity Fund I. He was also the Fund Consultant for Greyhound Fund LP, where he advised on private investments, early stage and mezzanine. Mr. Goodman received degrees from The University of Chicago, Miami University, and The Case Institute of Technology.

Anna Varga

Consultant

Ms. Varga has Investment Banking transaction experience in both retail and institutional oriented settings. Ms. Varga has been involved in processing public offerings, reverse merger public offerings, private placements of privately held and publicly traded companies, and mergers and acquisitions (including production of fairness opinions and valuation analysis) across avariety of sectors. Before joining Joseph Gunnar, Ms. Varga held positions at Brean Murray, Carret & Co., and at Maxim Group LLC in New York City. Ms. Varga received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Pace University.
